    Unlike a typical re-release with updated artwork, the Final Edition of The Spirit of ’76 is a fully re-edited and enhanced film. We have completely transformed this film by improving its visuals, pacing, and storytelling for a fresh new experience.

    We cut nearly an hour from the original Special Edition. Plus we added brand-new graphics, re-edited hundreds of animation sequences, and re-filmed every live-action scene.

    The result? An immersive, fast-paced engaging film that appeals to both history nerds and first-time viewers. Plus, you get over three hours of bonus material!

    THE ANATOMY OF THE SPIRIT OF 76S ANIMATION PROCESS Artist Craig Hollowell produced 90 of the animation stills for The Spirit of 76 Director Mike Church and editor Clint Stroman added the rest This thumbnail shows Hollowells original pencil sketches for the film that he would submit to Mike Church for approval Once approved Hollowell would then compose the various sketches into the shot then submit to Church as a photoshop files Church would either approve the layout or edit the file to his liking and return it From there Hollowell would add the airbrush paintings for the completed shot the animator Clint Stroman would use This is the actual sketch of the gods from the films climax scene
